As reported on the site "Ukrtransinspektsii", “in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the invasion of the territory of Ukraine by armed formations, extremist individuals and military aggression from the Russian Federation and in order to avoid threats to the life and health of passengers,” the sale of tickets for buses connecting “the mainland of Ukraine and territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea."
The heads of the territorial bodies of the Ukrtransinspektsiya have been instructed, under personal responsibility, to immediately inform motor carriers and bus station associations of information about the requirement to stop the transportation of passengers and the sale of tickets.
As PolitNavigator reported, today it became known that Ukrzaliznytsia has stopped passenger and cargo transportation to Crimea. Visa will also stop servicing cards on the peninsula. In Crimea today there were hours-long power outages, which caused disruptions in mobile communications.
