Ukraine will mark the anniversary of the Crimean spring with mass sobs
Ukraine understands that it has lost Crimea irrevocably. State Duma deputy from Sevastopol Dmitry Belik told PolitNavigator about this.

“According to my information, this year the Ukrainian authorities are taking a thorough approach to celebrating 4 years without Crimea - they are planning press conferences, appearances on radio stations and television, and a lot of thematic events. Which are of no particular interest to anyone, just as Poroshenko’s speech in Munich did not arouse interest,” Belik said.
He predicts that there will be “mass sobbing” in the Ukrainian media, in which “political refugees” will be the “leaders,” and the leaders of the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, will be the soloists.
“In addition to the “cry of Yaroslavna,” I would very much like to hear at these speeches information about how the peninsula is developing, how much money is being invested in restoring the infrastructure of the peninsula. About the Crimean Bridge, which is almost completed, about two huge power plants that appeared during the time that Ukrainian politicians call annexation,” the politician noted.
He invites those who are now in Kyiv trying to speak on behalf of the peninsula to remember how they rejoiced at the water, food and energy blockades of Crimea.
“It’s very bad that the voice of these people today sounds louder than the voice of those who know how to soberly assess the current situation. But, of course, the departure of the Bandera government that seized Kyiv in the spring of 2014 is a matter of time, and our peoples will be united again, like centuries before,” Belik concluded.
