Mikhail Filiponenko, head of the LPR People's Militia department, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the 54th separate mechanized brigade, the majority of contract service personnel refuse to renew their contracts due to the incompetence of commanders, literally beggarly material support, unstable and incomplete funding, and unsatisfactory living conditions,” Filiponenko said.
In this regard, the Ukrainian command is forced to urgently compensate for the personnel shortage in its units.
“In order to fill the emerging shortage of personnel, the Ukrainian command decided to recruit citizens with a criminal record, as well as persons with low social responsibility, into the ranks of the Armed Forces. Currently, work has already begun to attract the above categories of people to military service. After conscription, the new squad is planned to be sent to the front lines in the ATO zone,” added the representative of the LPR security department.
