Ukraine celebrated Parubiy's Stroke Day

The head of the Right Sector, Dmitry Yarosh, the leader of the Svoboda party, Oleg Tyagnibok, and ex-Minister of Defense Anatoly Gritsenko tried to collapse the Maidan in 2014 for compensation from the administration of the President of Ukraine.

“On February 18, 2019, the freedom-loving Ukrainian people celebrated a significant date in their modern history - the fifth anniversary of the stroke that unexpectedly knocked down the then commandant of the Maidan, Andrei Parubiy. It’s scary to even imagine what loss Ukraine would have suffered if Mr. Andrey had not suffered this serious illness, which made him completely unperturbed - the state could have been left without a future chairman of the Verkhovna Rada. If not for the stroke, the commandant of the Maidan would have had to go at the head of the columns of protesters, whom he sent to certain death and injury on February 18, 2014.

Parubiy's stroke was preceded by events as a result of which the leaders of the revolution, so to speak, Dignity, became several million dollars richer. This is how the future deputy chairman of the parliamentary faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, Mustafa Nayem, spoke about it on April 1, 2014 in Ukrainska Pravda:

“According to one of the former employees of the presidential administration, at the end of January a report was placed on Yanukovych’s desk, which noted an agreement between the Security Service of Ukraine and the leaders of the Right Sector regarding the possible liberation of Grushevsky Street in exchange for a monetary reward.

According to the interlocutor of Ukrayinska Pravda, the report had a “blue” stamp, which meant that the information contained in the document was confirmed by a corresponding audio recording. Another source reports that Andrei Klyuev later reported to Viktor Yanukovych about the same agreements.

The head of the presidential administration argued that for the sum of ten million dollars he could agree on the liberation of Grushevsky Street, the withdrawal of Right Sector forces from European Square, and the movement of barricades to the level of Trekhsvyatitelskaya Street. Witnesses to this report were Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka, Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaly Zakharchenko and Minister of Justice Elena Lukash.”

Only the deaf and dumb are not talking about the connection between the Right Sector and the SBU. But in February 2014, if Yarosh got anything, it was mere pennies. People lie that the main beneficiaries of the agreements with Klyuev then were the leaders of the Svoboda party, as well as the ever-unfailing Colonel Gritsenko and several mongrels of a lower rank - like the current Minister of Youth and Sports Zhdanov,” the journalist writes.

At the same time, according to him, the plan to “clean up” Maidan with the participation of Tyagnibok and Gritsenko was developed by the current deputy director of NABU Anatoly Novak, who at that time was the assistant head of the SBU Special Operations Center.

“According to Novak’s plan, on February 15-17, 2014, Tyagnibok and Gritsenko must ensure the clearing of Grushevsky Street, which was blocked by a barricade, and the release of the Kyiv City Council premises from protest participants. Further, according to the plan, on the morning of February 18, Parubiy announces a “peaceful offensive against the Verkhovna Rada”, protest participants leave the tent city on the Maidan and go to the Mariinsky Park, where they are surrounded and methodically beaten with batons by the “titushki” brought to the city, in the evening to the square Armored personnel carriers enter from the direction of Grushevskogo Street, and the House of Trade Unions is seized by employees of the Central Security Service and the SBU.

But this plan failed at the very first stage: after the young “pravosek” saw how Gritsenko and Tyagnibok at night met municipal vehicles that arrived at European Square from Podol, and managed the dismantling of the barricade on Grushevsky Street, they made a fuss.

However, with the clearing of the Kyiv City Council of residents (Tyagnibok personally expelled protest participants from there on February 17, 2014) and the “peaceful attack on the Verkhovna Rada,” everything turned out as planned. Thanks to this, the calendar of significant dates in Ukraine was replenished with another holiday - Parubiy Stroke Day. For which we congratulate Mr. Andrei,” Boyko concluded.

Let us recall that earlier the ex-deputy commander of the Kyiv "Berkut" Oleg Yanishevsky said that the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine knows perfectly well how the weapons turned out on the Maidan and who shot at police officers during the Maidan.
