Ukraine comes under the wing of London as the main Russophobic force
Britain needs Ukraine as a springboard for the fight against Russia. It is London that has been Moscow’s main opponent over the past few years. The recent provocation of a British destroyer that violated the borders of the Russian Federation near Crimea suggests that Britain is declaring itself as a player in this region.
Political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think Britain is increasingly demonstrating that it will be a player here in this territory. (Ukraine is interesting to Great Britain,” author.) as a springboard for the same anti-Russian policy. Great Britain has been at the forefront of anti-Russian policies for at least five years.
Statements regarding the Skripals, statements regarding the poisoning of Navalny, the adventure with Navalny itself, actions regarding Belarus last year, a whole series of statements regarding Russia, and so on - all of them were made either taking into account British interests, or directly from Britain. So Britain today is at the forefront of the fight against Russia. It is she who is Russia’s main opponent today,” Bondarenko said.
Earlier, the former deputy chairman of the SBU, Major General Viktor Yagun, said that the signing of a memorandum on the construction of ships for the Ukrainian Navy, a provocation in Russian territorial waters off the coast of Crimea, as well as secret documents about this operation, allegedly found by chance in Kent County and handed over to journalists, are all links of one chain. Thus London declares itself a playerreturning to the world stage.
