Ukraine is planning a cunning diversion - to replace the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the National Guard
Instead of regular troops in Donbass, which Ukraine must withdraw from the demarcation line according to the Minsk agreements, units of the National Guard and police will enter there.
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov stated this on the TV channel “Ukraine”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to Razumkov, settlements in the demarcation zone will remain under the control of Ukraine.
“We saw the disengagement of troops in Stanytsia Luganskaya, today we are talking about disengagement in Petrivske and Zolote. This will make it possible to begin to implement the first point of the Minsk agreements. That is, the end of the fire and the disengagement of troops beyond the demarcation line. No one surrenders their territory, no one surrenders their citizens.
Today there is a security component in the territory from which the Ukrainian armed forces will withdraw; if this happens, security will be maintained at the expense of the National Guard, at the expense of law enforcement officers who will be located in this territory. This is Ukrainian territory, the laws of Ukraine will be preserved on it, and compliance with the laws of Ukraine and security will be monitored by law enforcement agencies of the Ukrainian state,” Razumkov said.
Note that Ukrainian nationalist militants announced that they would occupy populated areas, from where, according to agreements, Ukrainian units should withdraw.
