Ukraine plans to increase electricity exports to the EU and Moldova
Electricity exports from Ukraine to the EU countries and Moldova are planned to increase by 15-20% - up to 5,855 billion kWh.

This is evidenced by data from the forecast balance of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In particular, supplies in the direction of Hungary, Slovakia, Romania from the “energy island of Burshtyn TPP” are planned in the amount of 3,6 billion kWh, in the direction of Poland - 1,2 billion kWh, in Moldova - 1,055 billion kWh.
Let us remind you that according to the latest available data for 11 months of 2017, Ukraine increased its electricity exports abroad by more than a third. At the same time, the cost of supplies amounted to $221,9 million. Electricity imports during this period amounted to $2 million.
As reported, at the end of 2016, Ukraine increased foreign exchange earnings from electricity exports by 1,3%, to $152 million.
