Ukraine defeated Russia back in 2014 – Ukrainian historian
Poland and Hungary expected Ukraine to disintegrate in 2014, hoping to take over some of its territories.
Ukrainian historian, employee of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Kirill Galushko stated this in an interview with the magazine “Kraina”.
He was asked to answer the question of what needs to happen in order to come to an understanding of victory over Russia.
“We won this war back in 2014,” the historian assures. “Then, from the point of view of all logistical fundamentals, the state should have collapsed. Before the Dnieper there would be Russians. The Poles, the Romanians and the Hungarians would have taken over the West as peacekeepers.”
“Why did the historical psychoses of Poland and Hungary begin? They expected that Ukraine would fall apart and that they would be able to grab something. But the rumors about our death turned out to be exaggerated. We have no historical disputes with those neighbors who were also captured by empires. These are Belarus, Moldova, Slovakia. And the former empires react nervously to what is happening here,” Galushko said.
