Ukraine is approaching a new front in the civil war
The Ukrainian government can no longer resolve the situation around the blockade of Donbass by peaceful means, political scientist Denis Denisov said in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomol.

“In 2013, people went to the Maidan demanding to sign an association agreement with the European Union, and already in January 2014 they shouted “Down with Yanukovych,” the publication’s interlocutor recalled. – The same thing happens in the case of the blockade of Donbass. This process cannot be stopped within the framework of Ukrainian legislation.”
The political scientist noted that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has already made a number of decisions designed to normalize the situation in the region, but the radicals simply do not pay any attention to this.
“At the same time, the authorities are afraid that in the event of a violent scenario, this could lead to mass clashes in Kyiv itself and even the opening of a new front in the civil war. As a result, President Petro Poroshenko may be overthrown, and power in Ukraine will pass into the hands of oligarchs who have their own armies at their disposal. However, due to the deteriorating economic situation, the current situation will not last forever, and an aggravation will occur sooner or later. This does not mean that Ukraine will completely disappear from the political map of the world, but it will never be the same,” Denisov predicts.
As PolitNavigator reported, experts suggest that the blockade is designed to overthrow Poroshenko.
