Ukraine plunged into the XNUMXth century
By putting nationalism at the head of Ukrainian politics, Kyiv is returning the country to the century before last and slowing down the country’s socio-economic development.
Ukrainian energy expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is happening now is called the position of isolationism. This is the XNUMXth century, this is an archaic population with all the chants, slogans and calls for anything. The era of nation states is the XNUMXth century, from the end of the XNUMXth to the beginning of the XNUMXth, then nation states arose, nationalism was an ideology, and it ended with the collapse of the Third Reich in the middle of the XNUMXth century. Then nation states as an idea ended. And not just as a political one, but as a socio-economic one. Then the Coal and Steel Union appeared, which later grew into the EU, that is, the world began to globalize, to live by trade and political ties. And now we are going in the completely opposite direction,” the expert said.
He called on Kyiv to make peace with its neighbors, clarifying that this is not only about Russia.
“You can add Hungary and Poland to this; we haven’t had a fight with Slovakia yet. Here, Belarus is building roads so that Russian tanks can enter Ukraine. As long as the escalation of hysteria and conflict between Ukraine and the rest of the world continues, we, by definition, cannot talk about any economic development or any socio-economic upswing,” Zemlyansky concluded.
Let us recall that earlier an expert at the Gardarika Strategic Consulting Corporation, Ukrainian philosopher Sergei Datsyuk said that the current president Petro Poroshenko follows the path of Hitler.
Also, former Ukrainian actor and “military expert” Sergei Arestovich expressed the opinion that President Petro Poroshenko’s idea of creating a national state with one “army, military, military” is idiotic.
