Being between two empires, it is impossible to remain an integral state for long, tearing it apart from the inside and causing hatred of one competing side to the other.
Russian political scientist Vitaly Tretyakov said this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, characterizing the current situation in Ukraine, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian state has been purposefully moving from president to president since its inception in 1991 along the path of destroying its integrity due to the split of the population, which consists of Ukrainians and Russians. Advice from Moscow was given many times: “Will you ever start gluing?” Not to mention that there are also local supporters of this - they don’t listen, that is, this is a principled line, which is based on the fact that the West unconditionally supports Ukraine in this project, but they don’t like corruption - they steal too much and don’t share . And secondly, this hatred as a state is Anti-Russia.
But it is impossible, being between two fires, two empires, two villains, whatever, to build an integral state for a long time, tearing it apart from the inside and causing hatred of one competing side to the other. This is impossible, sooner or later you will be torn apart. The European Union as an empire itself will soon collapse, so joining it at this moment is the best time to collapse along with it,” Tretyakov said.
