Ukraine boasted of a drone launched from a catapult at an exhibition in the Emirates
The Ukrainian state enterprise Spetstechnoexport showed a new unmanned combat system at the international exhibition UMEX 2018 in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The publication notes that the presented RAM UAV system belongs to a type of weapon system in which ammunition autonomously “staggers” over a given plane for a certain time in search of a target, and attacks it if detected.
It is indicated that the glider of the drone-ammunition reaches a length of 1,8 m, wings of 2,3 m and a maximum take-off weight of 8 kg.
It is also reported that the drone is launched from a catapult and can remain in the air for about 40 minutes, and its maximum flight range reaches 30 km.
