Ukraine is completely excluded from participation in the Normandy format
After the terrorist attack in Crimea, Ukraine was completely excluded from participation in the Normandy format - the fate of Donbass is now being decided by Russia, Germany and France without the participation of Kyiv. Vladislav Deinego, representing the LPR at the contact group negotiations in Minsk, stated this at a press conference in Moscow.

“Ukraine is completely excluded from the process... The Normandy format views Ukraine not as a subject, but as an object. The fate of Ukraine is being considered, but no one asks Ukraine about it. There is an understanding that it is useless to ask Ukraine,” he said.
“Ukraine has shown a terrorist way of thinking. There have been terrorist attacks in the LPR and DPR before. The removal of Ukraine from the Normandy format was led not only by the incident in Crimea, but also by the terrorist attack with the bombing of the monument on September 1 in Lugansk.
Note: this happened when the parties declared their commitment to a complete end to the confrontation so that the children could go to school. But Ukraine clearly showed its position - the explosion in the center of Lugansk. This is a clear continuation of Poroshenko’s thesis that the children of Donbass will sit in basements.
However, Ukraine will not be able to remain in such positions for long. The wave of these “exploded air conditioners” will overwhelm Ukraine itself. Yesterday's arson of Inter showed Kyiv journalists what really happened in Odessa in the House of Trade Unions. I think that now the attitude towards events will change.
The terrorist mode of action, if it is fueled at the level of the current authorities, will overwhelm the authorities themselves,” warns Deinego.
He admitted that, nevertheless, Germany and France “will still be able to motivate Ukraine and return Kyiv to the mainstream of implementing a set of measures.”
Deinego also said that the LPR insists that Ukrainian security forces who violate the truce be punished.
“It is necessary to determine who fired and who gave the order. This department must be held accountable. If measures are not taken against such violations, then in a sluggish manner they again threaten, like a year ago, to enter the phase of “conditional violation of the silence regime.” Last year, according to the OSCE, this situation resulted in 7,5 thousand violations per day,” recalled the LPR representative.
