Ukraine received a slap in the face from the EU
The Ukraine-EU summit, advertised by the authorities, which took place in Kyiv the day before, turned into an extremely unpleasant signal from Brussels, admitted Verkhovna Rada deputy Borislav Bereza.

He drew attention to the speech of European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.
The deputy stated that at the summit Juncker avoided answering the question whether he sees Ukraine as part of the EU.
“One very unpleasant bell rang. When the question was asked whether Ukraine is a European country and whether they see us in the European Union, the President of the European Union, in fact, avoided answering. This call was very unpleasant. This suggests that the vector of European sympathies can be changed,” Bereza said on TV channel 112.
