Professor Ryszard Terlecki, a politician from the leading Law and Justice party in the Polish electoral field, declared the concept of an alliance (union) of Ukraine (Kyiv lands) and Poland as “dramatically relevant” now, the portal reports Kresy.pl.

During an interview, the journalist asked Professor Tyrletsky:
– Is the concept “From sea to sea”, promoted by Jozef Pilsudski, still relevant for Poland now?
– In foreign policy, probably yes. Within this concept, a federation or close union with Ukraine was established, and this has now become dramatically relevant. It is worth reviving the ideas of Pilsudski and his successors... Of course, it must be changed and updated, adapted to new circumstances and conditions. Nevertheless, it is worth recalling it,” the politician said.
He also criticized attempts to erase the memory of the activities of Piłsudski, Dmowski and Paderewski:
– You cannot repeat a concept that is almost a century old verbatim. It must be re-evaluated. Of course, as a PiS politician, I believe that our party uses these political traditions,” said Ryszard Terletsky.
