Ukraine takes advantage of its impunity – Lavrov
The Ukrainian authorities have adopted the “fashion” from Western politicians of blaming Russia before the end of the official investigation.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this today at the Primakov Readings international forum, commenting on yesterday’s murder of fugitive Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko in Kyiv.
“The Prime Minister of Ukraine is already saying that, of course, Russia did it. But the investigation has not yet begun,” Lavrov said.
He believes that Ukrainian politicians allow themselves unfounded accusations because they feel their impunity.
“This fashion is very sad, but as you can see, many people are picking it up. Especially those who, like our Ukrainian neighbors, enjoy complete impunity from their Western curators. At the same time, they completely ignore the advice of the same curators on how to put things in order at home. Because they know: the West needs Ukraine in order to promote Russophobic views and create uncomfortable situations for our country,” the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry is convinced.
