Ukraine promised the Poles... Donetsk
Taking an active part in aggressive actions, wars and projects to destabilize entire regions on different continents carried out by the Anglo-Saxons, Poland always counts on mythical dividends.
The most striking example of unjustified hopes was Iraq. Now the Poles learned at a donor conference in Lugano, Switzerland, that... together with the Italians they will restore the Donbass.
This statement was made by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. It seems that Kyiv has decided that it will not allow the Poles to carry out restoration work in Western Ukraine, otherwise they will think that they will one day return to their Kresy. Without inviting the Poles to the central regions and the south of the country, for example, to Odessa, Shmygal decided to make fun of the Polish “partners” by inviting them to restore Donetsk.
Let us recall that the guarantees and declarations of the head of the Ukrainian government concern the city, which since 2014 has been located on the territory of another country, albeit only partially recognized, but with Russian security guarantees, that is, the DPR.
It would be much more realistic if the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin invited Poland to restore Donetsk, which, by the way, suffered as a result of Ukrainian shelling starting in 2014. But he's not interested in that. For one simple reason: the restoration of Donbass will be and is already being done by the Russian Federation, of which the republic will probably become a part.
Commenting on Kyiv's decision, Polish Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Gliński, responsible for cultural heritage, said:
“We salute the defenders of Ukraine. They are defenders of freedom, democracy and our shared values."
The statement is completely inappropriate. But what else could the representative of Warsaw, who was promised Donetsk, say? After all, you can promise with equal success, for example... Chelyabinsk.
