Ukraine will pay with the loss of new territories for Zelensky’s servility to NATO
The short-sighted statements of Vladimir Zelensky, voiced the day before, about his desire to gain NATO membership will lead to Ukraine losing new territories after Crimea and Donbass.
Experts came to this opinion on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Stoltenberg simply delighted me. He said that if Ukraine joins NATO, then it is not Russia’s business, no one will ask it. I would like to remind you that Ukraine already forgot to ask Russia once when it tried to sign an Association Agreement.
And then Russia said: “Guys, sign whatever you want, but let the three of us sit down and discuss, because there is a conflict of interest due to the Customs Union,” and they said: “It’s none of your business.”
Fine. Crimea - goodbye, Donbass - goodbye. Now, this time, where will the “goodbye” be?” – noted TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov recalled how countries where the leadership sold out to NATO lost their provinces.
“It destroyed the integrity of not only Ukraine, but also Georgia and Moldova. It was these three countries that began to actively flirt with NATO, and this outraged half the country, and in some places even more.
This divided and still divides, for example, the same Gagauzia in Moldova said: “Try only in NATO, we are not on the border,” or Transnistria, or Abkhazia and Ossetia. I’ll tell you straight: Stoltenberg is playing along with this,” Kalashnikov added.
