“After the ceasefire came into force on April 1, the Ukrainian side continued to use mortars, and there were civilian buildings damaged. For example, as a result of the shelling, shells hit a residential apartment. In addition, the problem of Ukrainian saboteurs remains relevant. However, we have become better at working, so it is more difficult for them to conduct their activities. Perhaps, after the truce is concluded, Ukraine will try to intensify the sending of saboteurs,” suggested the deputy commander of the DPR army, Eduard Basurin.
In turn, Deputy Chairman of the People's Council of the LPR Vladislav Deinego told the publication that in the first 1000 hours after the truce, Ukrainian troops carried out several dozen attacks on the territory of the republic and fired about 3 ammunition, but then the situation stabilized somewhat, and there was no information about mass violations on April XNUMX.
“The next meeting in Minsk will be held on April 12. The main issue that will be raised is the withdrawal of heavy weapons. It was planned for April 1, but, to put it mildly, Ukraine did not implement this, but showed the presence of these weapons during shelling on the same date. Although Ukraine announced the withdrawal of weapons from the contact line, we saw them in action,” Deinego said.
