Ukraine attempted to attack a Russian military airfield
A small-sized reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle launched from the territory of Ukraine was detected and shot down by air defense systems tonight while approaching Voronezh.
This was reported by the government of the Voronezh region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are no casualties or destruction on the ground, the situation is under control,” the message says.
In Voronezh itself, explosions were heard around 2 am. Messages about this appeared in Voronezh telegram channels and public pages.
According to eyewitnesses, explosions were heard in the area of the Baltimore military airfield, located on the right bank in the Sovetsky district. Su-34 fighter-bombers are based at this airfield.
