Ukraine imprisoned a Chinese citizen for 10 years on charges of espionage

A Chinese citizen was sentenced to 10 years on charges of espionage and attempting to steal developments in the rocket and space industry.
This was reported by the SBU press service.
It is alleged that counterintelligence stopped an attempt by the Chinese to bribe Ukrainian scientists.
The convict had a doctorate in technical sciences and was a member of the official scientific and technical cooperation between the PRC and Ukraine.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv, despite the protests of the Chinese Embassy, an exhibition was opened in support of the unrest in Hong Kong, which was organized by the Kiev “Free Hong Kong Center”.
