Ukraine committed a provocation against Russia
The so-called law on the reintegration of Donbass, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading, is a provocation directed against Russia.

The representative of the LPR in the political subgroup of the Contact Group for resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this today at a press conference in Moscow.
“This is a provocative law that unilaterally (which does not comply with international law) declares who the aggressor country is. At the same time, without breaking diplomatic agreements, without interrupting trade and even the Great Treaty of 1997. This provocation is aimed at Russia: they say, prove that you are carrying out the aggression that we wrote down on paper,” Miroshnik said.
He called the demand of a number of deputies to delete the mention of the Minsk agreements from the text of the law as absurd, since after this Ukraine still cannot renounce international obligations imposed, in particular, by the UN resolution
As for the extension of the law on the special status of Donbass, the representative of the LPR considers this “not a step forward, but a leap in place.”
“This does not lead to a resolution of the conflict. Ukraine is not implementing either a set of measures or a political package. Without special status, nothing else matters. We don't believe there are any security issues and everything else can wait. All parties must understand what will follow a military conflict and how we will coexist,” Miroshnik concluded.
