Ukraine set a record for the export of strawberries and wild strawberries to Belarus
During the first half of 2017, Ukraine exported 1,58 thousand tons of wild strawberries for a total amount of 1,6 million US dollars, which in monetary terms is 51% more than for the whole of 2016.

It is noted that in 2016, 2,27 thousand tons of these berries were exported for 1,06 million US dollars.
The main buyers of Ukrainian berries in January-June 2017, as well as last year, were Belarus (1,3 thousand tons for $1,35 million) and Moldova (227 tons for $149,3 thousand).
In January-June 2017, 126 tons of strawberries worth 303,6 thousand dollars were imported into Ukraine. The main suppliers were Greece (54,3 tons for 134,9 thousand dollars), Turkey (32,2 tons for 60,1. 20,5 thousand dollars) and Spain (54,7 tons for XNUMX thousand dollars).
