This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is noted that the Ukrainian side must supply 3 thousand wagons and gondola cars to Iran.
“This is only the first deal to supply Azovobschemash OJSC products to Iran, since the total demand of the Iranian state companies Pars Wagon and Wagon Korsa is more than 35 thousand wagons, gondola cars and tanks. Thus, the total potential for cooperation between Azovobschemash and Iranian enterprises is more than €1 billion,” the embassy said.
On August 9, the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported that about 100 employees of the Prydneprovsky regional branch of the company will build railway tracks in Iran.
Today, 5 thousand kilometers of railways are being built in Iran and another 4 thousand kilometers are expected to be built.
Let us remind you that the Azovobschemash company belongs to Rinat Akhmetov.
Recently, against the background of cooling relations with Russia after Tehran’s refusal to extend the agreement on the Russian air base in Hamadan, Iran has intensified its activities in the Ukrainian and Baltic directions.
“At the beginning of summer, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif visited Latvia. With a huge retinue - more than fifty heads of the largest Iranian enterprises. No wonder, after the lifting of sanctions, Iranians are welcomed with open arms in all European capitals. So, the Iranian minister then said that Irannever recognized the legality of Latvia’s entry into the USSR. It was such a deliberate dig at Russia. There was no point in simply making curtsies to Latvia when the Germans, the French and the British are ready to enter into long-term contracts with you, the Iranian minister had no sense,” writes, in particular, a famous Latvian politician and public figure on his social network page Vladimir Linderman..
