Ukraine will raise the issue of impeachment of the President of the PACE for a visit to Syria

In Ukraine, they hope to deal with the “pro-Russian” PACE President Pedro Agramund for visiting Syria together with State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky. Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, member of PACE Borislav Bereza stated this on the air of the talk show “Black Mirror”.
According to him, the question of Agramund's impeachment will be submitted to the next PACE meeting.

“In just two weeks, the session of the parliamentary committee of the Council of Europe will begin, and it is already planned to consider the issue of Syria there. But there will also be raised the question of confidence in PACE President Pedro Agramund, who just recently visited Syria with Leonid Slutsky and met with Assad.
For the first time in the history of PACE, one of the pro-Russian sympathizers in Europe gets the opportunity to be impeached and leave the post of PACE president ahead of schedule. Therefore, no one will hush up the interests of Ukraine in Europe, on the contrary, the position of a person who is pro-Russian and argued that Russia needs to be returned has now weakened.
