Ukraine constantly asks, but we squeeze out what we can - Stoltenberg
NATO members are supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles, tanks and are preparing to transfer aircraft and train pilots.
Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this at a press conference following a meeting of the foreign ministers of NATO member countries in Oslo, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must now be extremely vigilant and maintain our focus to ensure that over the coming weeks our allies not only provide more battle tanks and heavy weapons, but also emphasize that the UK is providing long-range cruise missiles.
Now other allies also remind and emphasize that they have already begun training Ukrainian pilots so that they receive proper training and can operate combat fighters,” said the NATO Secretary General.
Pilot training is a “priority,” he said.
“Yes, Ukrainians ask for more every day, but we also make the most of what we can. After all, if Putin wins in Ukraine, this will mean that evil will continue to spread. Therefore, our task is not to show such vulnerability, but to unite and give everything we can,” Stoltenberg said.
