Ukraine has lost almost all of its industry, except for the military-industrial complex
Ukraine has already lost many important industries, and almost the only achievement was the revival in the military-industrial complex due to the policy to strengthen defense capabilities.
Viktor Suslov, the former Minister of Economy of Ukraine, stated this on the ZIK channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To lose such powerful industries that we had... a powerful aircraft industry, for five years we have not produced a single aircraft. All shipbuilding factories produce almost nothing, they are in crisis, production volumes have fallen many times over. The space industry is experiencing enormous difficulties. There are some achievements in the military-industrial complex for obvious reasons, because huge budget funds are allocated to strengthening defense. But from a purely economic point of view, this is not a great achievement and does not improve the standard of living. Well, that’s probably all,” he said.
