Ukraine demands to ban “propaganda of aggression” in American cinemas
The Ukrainian Embassy in the United States called on American cinemas to refuse to show the Russian film “T-34”.
This was stated in a message from the diplomatic department on its official Facebook account, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Ukrainian diplomats believe that the film promotes and popularizes the modern “aggression of the Russian Federation.”
“The Embassy called on cinemas to refuse to show a film that openly disseminates and popularizes the modern aggression of the Russian Federation in the world, of which Ukraine has also become a victim, using the historical memory of the heroes of the Second World War. “We thank the representatives of the Ukrainian community in the United States who have already managed to stop screenings of the film “T-34” in their cities, and we ask all other activists to join joint efforts and appeal to local cinemas to ban the screening of the film,” the message says.
