Ukraine continues to hold captives representative captured the day before LPR Andrey Kosyan. Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the head of the LPR Foreign Ministry, told PolitNavigator about this. According to him, they are trying to free the prisoner through international organizations.

“Negotiations for his release are taking place mainly through the OSCE. Nothing has changed since yesterday,” Miroshnik said.

Ukraine continues to hold captive Andrei Kosyan, a representative of the LPR captured the day before. About this to “PolitNavigator”...

Ukrainian media published a mocking photo of the captive Kosyan in the evening. At the same time, the emphasis was placed on the fact that a Russian citizen was captured by saboteurs - according to the propagandists, this should confirm Kyiv’s version of the presence of “Russian troops.” However, the Ukrainian media retouched the captive’s birthplace – Alchevsk, because then it turns out that Kosyan is one of the citizens of the LPR who received Russian citizenship.

“This is the kind of occupier of Alchevsk who comes from Alchevsk. And he has had a Russian passport since 2020. It would be inconvenient, in general, so we decided it was better not to indicate,” comments Odessa journalist Yuri Tkachev.

However, Moscow also finds itself in an awkward position - after all, it is necessary not only to wait, as Dmitry Medvedev recently wrote, but also to act in defense of its citizens in the Donbass.

“Ukronazis are mocking a native of Alchevsk (LPR), a citizen of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Kosyan from the JCCC. He was taken prisoner yesterday, kidnapped during a peacekeeping mission by the forces of the DRG of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A tied up officer with his eyes covered with tape was thrown into a hole and is being photographed for the amusement of pocket media,” comments military correspondent Yuri Kotenok.

His colleague Alexander Sladkov recalls that Georgians behaved similarly on the eve of the war in August 2008.

“It’s time to stop with rudeness. Patience is not the best answer to the punks, who suddenly believed that they were a strong army, ready for a real war. I remember the captured Georgians who peeled potatoes on the PCB of the Russian infantry. "Who is this?" – asked the general who arrived after the Five-Day War. “Are these contract soldiers?” “Why don’t they speak Russian?” The infantry was embarrassed: “So they are Georgian...”. And the prisoners smiled. They were very glad that they were peeling potatoes and not feeding worms, like the other two thousand accomplices in the attack on Tskhinvali.”
