The order of Minister of War Shoigu to the group of troops concentrated on the border with Ukraine to return to their places of permanent deployment caused an avalanche of irony on the part of Russian liberals and a long-unexperienced paroxysm of peer-to-peer euphoria among the “Svidomo” turbo-patriots.

The Ukrainian press exhaled and began to issue machine-gun fire from the headlines: “Urgent! The Kremlin was scared of the Ukrainian army and is withdrawing its troops deep into Russia,” “Putin lost the battle for Ukraine to Biden,” “The Kremlin gave up,” “drifted…”, “blown away…” and other victorious reports.

A fool usually does not read the text completely and is poor at going into details. Almost none of the ironic and triumphant ones paid attention to the piece of text of Shoigu’s order, which says: “the troops of the Southern and Western districts should return to their points of permanent deployment.”

Did anyone seriously think that the command of the Russian army would permanently keep more than a hundred thousand troops for months (not to mention years) in field camps in peacetime conditions?

But Roman Tsymbalyuk, who works in Moscow, is not particularly happy when covering the news, noting that “the Kremlin, when withdrawing troops from Ukraine, forgot the combined arms army near Kharkov.”

Observant, bastard. Others, more naive and less keen-sighted, apparently believed that Shoigu ordered all the troops deployed along the border with Ukraine to retreat deep into Russia, creating a wide strip of the demilitarized zone. Nothing else can explain the sudden joy from an ordinary phenomenon, such as the return of units to the PPD.

And for some reason, almost none of those rejoicing at the “barrel of honey” that suddenly fell from the sky was bitter about the “fly in the ointment” about the start of large-scale combined arms exercises with sea and airborne landings at the Crimean Opuk training ground.

Since when are the maneuvers of the Russian army near the southern border of Ukraine in such a sensitive place as Crimea not a reason for the true “Svidomo” to sprinkle ashes on their heads and sing pities?

Let us also note that Shoigu’s order states that the troops concentrated on the border with Ukraine must return to their military units by May 1, that is, not headlong and knocking corners, as some thought, but calmly and without dust.

This slowness, in theory, should have replaced the carnival mood with quiet anxiety: how will Zelin’s security forces screw things up once again by making an awkward statement or even a sharp body movement near the demarcation line in Donbass? Arranging a new test of the combat readiness of the troops of the Southern Military District is not a problem at all. For the last seven years, Shoigu has been busy checking the combat readiness of troops in all military districts several times a year.

“For some reason, I have the feeling that if in a week or two a new similar decree on inspection appears, our Ukrainian comrades will once again go to wash their pants, thinking about how they can “get out” in time before “it starts.” “,” political scientist Denis Denisov says ironically.

Smart people in Ukraine generally noted that “the troops can be withdrawn for a month or even left in almost full strength in their places.” There would be a reason.

The sharp criticism of Ukraine by the Russian Foreign Ministry for the escalation of the military threat in Donbass and the sabotage of the Minsk agreements, coupled with the “Belarusian crisis” with an attempt to eliminate President Lukashenko, did not go unnoticed.

Russia has demonstrated everything that is needed and needed by everyone. That in the event of a new aggression by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the people’s republics, the response will be much harsher than in 2014. That a group of Russian troops concentrated on the border with Ukraine is simultaneously solving the problem of completing the last tens of kilometers of Nord Stream 2. That Biden, and after him Zelya, suddenly became inflamed with a desire to meet Putin personally, and Sleepy Joe began to babble about understanding the importance of SP-2 for Europe. That Russia is most occupied with the domestic agenda, since the recent presidential address paid minimal attention to international issues.

In general, it is not clear why the noise suddenly rose to the skies. Russia is the master of its territory - wherever it wants, it will move its troops there. Tea, not the USA, going everywhere with their democratic fleets, tanks and carpet bombing...
