Ukraine offered the United States technology for the development of the solar system
Ukraine can become a leader in organizing flights to the Moon. This opinion was expressed by Yuzhnoye SDO General Director Alexander Degtyarev at the NASA cosmodrome, where the Antares launch vehicle was launched, Channel 24 reports, citing Ukrinform.

According to him, Ukraine has a full range of technologies that make it possible to produce components for a flight to Mars.
“But we proposed six months or a year ago a project to create an experimental base on the Moon,” Degtyarev said, clarifying that he considers such a project more realistic than an expedition to Mars.
“In fact, the same results can be obtained faster on the Moon by solving the same life support problems on the planets of the Solar System. There are also fossil fuels there and access to energy sources,” added the general director of Yuzhnoye SDO.
“Here we acted as leaders, because we can afford to be leaders - not financial, but scientific, technological. We hope that the project will be supported. We invite everyone to take part in it,” Degtyarev urged.
It is worth noting that the flagship of the Soviet rocket industry, Yuzhmash, which used the developments of the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, is today going through the most difficult times in its history. Due to the severance of ties with Russia, the enterprise is mostly idle.
