Ukraine is one big uncontrollable Chernobyl - experts
Ukraine has turned into a state that poses a direct radioactive threat to the world, and evidence of this is the fire in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, which could not be extinguished for 10 days until it rained.
The editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, Igor Korotchenko, stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
“The government and the president of Ukraine are directly responsible for this, because the radioactive forest was burning, the fire was approaching the waste storage facility. The situation is an emergency, and in these conditions, of course, Ukraine is one of the powerful sources of environmental and radiation pollution.
Under these conditions, the Ukrainian authorities demonstrate complete lack of professionalism and inability to take control of the situation.
But we shouldn’t be surprised by this, because the entire Ukrainian project is one big fake, which will soon be 30 years old. The Kiev regime is preparing a second mini-Chernobyl for us,” Korotchenko said.
In turn, Kiev political scientist Alexander Semchenko considers the situation in Chernobyl a reason for the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.
“Only when all the media started writing about the fire in the exclusion zone did they start doing something. The question is not even that the president has not reacted now, but that the president is not able to build the state machine so that it works as it should.
The State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations is subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Minister of Internal Affairs has been in office for seven years. The current president confirmed his confidence in this minister.
Maybe it’s time for Arsen Avakov to answer for the disruption of work in literally all areas – everything related to the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs?” – Semchenko is outraged.
