Ex-Minister of Transport and Communications, former Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevgeny Chervonenko said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the politician, while Ukrainian officials dream of high-speed tunnels, the country’s railway, built under Stalin and not modernized since then, is crumbling.

“Hyperloop. I asked a question on the verge: who will create the vacuum? Who will suck from the pipe, with what devices? Our railway tracks were not touched by Comrade Stalin and Kaganovich, his Minister of Transport. We cannot travel on the main railway. The most profitable direction is Moscow, which makes a profit. And Russian directions. There are five planes a day from Vilnius, from Europe they fly to Russia, and we fly through Belarus, so she has rearmed her fleet. Seven planes a day (flies to Moscow, – author). If we lose gas transit behind transport transit, we are a garbage dump, we are a useless country, even with our own agriculture. Such slaves are Papuans,” said Chervonenko.
