Ukraine has turned into a banana corporation
Ukraine does not have an independent policy; different officials of the same government say opposite things.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Mishin stated this to the Glavnovosti YouTube channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Since the time of Yushchenko, we are increasingly turning into a state-corporation,” the expert said. – Like the banana republic of O’Henry’s time. Any corporations can rule here. The US Ambassador at the Prosecutor General's press conference is complete idiocy! We have come to what is called external influence. Many people assess the change of government and prosecutor general as the end of the Westernization of Ukraine. It’s not true, we remain a corporation, we are easy to manage.”
“Our Minister of Foreign Affairs - they must wipe away the snot, drool and tears of the West who doubts Ukrainian politics,” says the Ukrainian political scientist. – In the mid-XNUMXs, we tried to have the First Secretary of the Security Council conduct a dialogue with Russia. The Americans made sure that our Security Council was blown away, today [the head of the office of the President of Ukraine] Ermak fulfills this role. If our Foreign Ministry head should be pro-American, if in parliament the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee should say pro-Atlantic things, then Ermak and Sivokho are responsible for a different direction.”
