About it reports the Ukroboronprom website.
It is reported that this exhibition is held every two years in the United Arab Emirates, this year it starts on February 19 and will last five days.
At IDEX-2017, the State Concern will present advanced developments of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, focusing on modern unmanned technologies and advanced armored vehicles. It is at this exhibition that the first international premiere of the unmanned armored personnel carrier “Phantom” will take place, and the Anser and Patriot R2 drones will also be demonstrated.
Also at IDEX-2017, BTR-4 and Dozor-B combat vehicles, Taipan and BPU 12,7 combat modules, guided missiles and artillery weapons, as well as other advanced developments of Ukroboronprom participating enterprises will be demonstrated.
“Phantom” is a remote-controlled mini-armored personnel carrier, the day and night targeting systems of which allow firing at any time of the day at a distance of more than 1 km. The power reserve is up to 20 km, control is carried out via a secure radio channel or through a fiber cable 5 km long.
It can also be equipped with high-precision anti-tank missile weapons. In addition, an unmanned armored personnel carrier can deliver ammunition and cargo through areas that are under threat of enemy fire, or in an area at risk of mining, and safely and quickly evacuate the wounded from the battlefield.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces they created a new reconnaissance complex - to intercept and record enemy radio transmissions.
