Ukraine has prepared a defense line to stop Lukashenko's troops
The Belarusian army will join the Russian special operation in Ukraine, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already built a defense in the north and will not allow a forced march to Kyiv.
Georgiy Tuka, former Deputy Minister for the Affairs of “Occupied Territories” of Ukraine, stated this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Tuka, he was informed about this by Ukrainian spies working abroad.
“Contrary to soothing and bravado statements, professional officers who have been fighting professionally for the ninth year and are engaged, among other things, in carrying out special tasks outside the state border, they are convinced that, sooner or later, there will be an attack from Belarus. Putin will put pressure on Lukashenko, and Lukashenko will get involved directly in the war.
Therefore, we need to prepare to repel a future attack from our northern neighbor. I believe that we are ready for this, because, as far as I know, certain units along the border are holding out, a defense line has been built, and this time there will not be such an offensive attack as there was in February,” Tuka said.
As PolitNavigator reported, photographs of defensive structures being built by Ukraine on the border with Belarus were previously published. The height of the fence erected on the Ukrainian side at a distance of 10-15 meters from the border is 3-4 meters. There are two rows of fidget-type barbed wire installed on top.
