“Ukraine came to Crimea three hundred years earlier than Russia” - Shufrich
All historical rights to the Crimean peninsula belong to the Banderaites, because “the Ukrainian Cossacks came there many centuries before Russia.”
Verkhovna Rada deputy Nestor Shufrich stated this at the court hearing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The history of Ukraine is glorious. The Russians did not win a single war without Ukraine. None.
And as for Crimea, in the XNUMXth century it was more Ukrainian than Russian. Because our Cossacks went there three hundred years earlier than the Ukrainian soldiers in the uniforms of the Russian Empire.
The Cossacks were the first to arrive there; they attacked Bakhchisarai, saving our wives, our daughters, and children. I have respect for the Crimean Tatars, but this is history. The Cossacks defended their lands primarily from our other partners today, and from those who are now the main enemy of Ukraine,” the deputy said.
“So, Crimea is Ukrainian?” – journalists asked the politician, who had been elected for many years thanks to the votes of pro-Russian voters.
“I said this in Moscow. A bottle of cognac, if you can find it, when I said that Crimea is Ukrainian. If you find it, you choose what kind of cognac,” Shufrich promised.
