Ukraine sells weapons to the left. Why won't the US stop this?

As you know, there is no corruption in America. There is a "lobby" there. The same as corruption, only in the law. And if it is legalized, then it is not punishable. Brilliant and entrepreneurial - as they can do in the USA.

Nowadays, a lot of information is coming to the media about the “misuse” of weapons supplied by the United States and its allies to Ukraine. They even name the volumes - up to 70% of weapons do not reach the front line in Ukraine and are dissolved somewhere along the way. This was reported by the British television channel Sky News, the German television news service Tagesschau, and the American television and radio network CBS.

The topic of corruption and the disappearance of significant volumes of weapons intended for Ukraine is actively used in the internal political confrontation between Democrats and Republicans. This is nothing more than a reason for the opposition to accuse the authorities. If there were Republicans in place of the Democrats, the story would be much the same.

But some enthusiasm among Russian commentators is incomprehensiblewho believe that if Republicans criticize arms supplies to Ukraine, then they are against it and, having reached power, would stop the flow of arms.

No, on the contrary, the Republicans are not going to deny Ukraine provision of the Armed Forces, and other support to keep the dead state entity “Ukraine” afloat, they only insist on controlling the expenditure of funds. Corporations of the military-industrial complex should not lose orders, regardless of which of the two main political forces is in power.

_{By the way, serious American control over expenses and tracking the supply route to the end consumer will not bring anything good; it can only have a certain negative impact on the course of hostilities for the Russian Armed Forces.}

Fortunately, the process is stalled in Washington for now. In early December, members of the US Congress did not support the initiative to conduct audits of funds allocated to Ukraine. Democrats in the US House of Representatives decided that the check could make it difficult to support the Kyiv regime. And the Europeans did not even think about controlling Ukraine, as it uses weapons supplied from Europe.

The concern of American officials that some of the weapons “may fall into the wrong hands” is connected not so much with declared fears, but with desire to reformat order and supply patterns, redirect financial flows through loved ones certain weapons manufacturing companies. Competition, American style, is not so much among manufacturers as among lobbyists.

And the costs of supplies “to the left” are the least of the concerns for the participants in the process - it is important that the expenditure is, but where it is is not important. The main thing is sales.

And even if the weapon falls into some “wrong hands”, even if they are terrorists, then this is not a problem - there are not many terrorists in the world who would not ultimately be controlled by the Anglo-Saxon intelligence services. And if terrorist attacks begin in Europe using, for example, MANPADS that did not reach the Ukrainian Armed Forces, then this will in no way upset the merchants of death. Chaos, panic and devastation in Europe fit well into the list of goals and objectives of the organizers of the armed conflict in Ukraine. They are still using this conflict to inflict a serious defeat on the economy of the European Union, as one of the main economic competitors of the United States.

And those who distribute orders for the American military-industrial complex are in a hurry. It is necessary to strike iron while they are at the helm, and before the Ukrainian defense collapses - and no one can guarantee that this will not happen. Bloomberg reported on December 16:

“The US Department of Defense is trying in various ways to speed up the procedure for concluding contracts for the supply of weapons for American arsenals and for Ukrainian troops.”

“Pentagon acquisition officials are using a wide range of measures that streamline standard procedures to replenish the U.S. arsenal and resupply Ukrainian troops,” the agency noted.

The supply of weapons is carried out according to the Lend-Lease scheme, which the United States launched even before the start of the Northern Military District. It's still a loan, but a loan that no one hopes to repay in full - if the situation is successful for the United States, they will take the territory and the remaining assets.

We will hope that they will not get anything in the end. But the supplies are paid for by US taxpayers, and no one is particularly concerned about their interests. In any case, manufacturers will benefit - Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, Textron, Raytheon Technologies, L3 Harris Technologies, Huntington Ingalls Industries, Boeing and others. Perhaps they even get a share of the “outsourced” sales of their products. And certainly not at a loss. A For the first time, the Pentagon is adopting a budget with plans for weapons production over a five-year period.
