Ukraine has demonstrated its vulnerability and dependence on Donbass
The blockade of Donbass revealed the criminality of increasing tariffs for utility services for Ukrainians, who were explained that the overpayment was due to the diversification of coal supplies, but in reality it turned out that without Donbass coal the country would be in a state of emergency.

Political scientist Nikolai Spiridonov said this on air at UkrLife, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The most important thing is that this blockade showed us once again the absurdity of utility tariffs, because we were all told that we were diversifying risks, that we were purchasing according to the Rotterdam+ formula, that is, coal comes from Holland plus transportation. And suddenly it turned out that we still buy coal in the Donbass and without it, we could be declared a state of emergency in the energy sector and rolling blackouts could occur. That is, it turned out that we are paying exorbitant prices, we are paying for diversification, in fact there is no diversification, the coal comes from Donbass and we cannot do without it. The question arises - we paid for “Rotterdam+”, while we took it from Donbass at a price two times cheaper. The question arises: where did the difference go?” asked Spiridonov.
As PolitNavigator reported, due to the blockade of Donbass Ukrainian thermal power plants begin to shut down, while nuclear power plants are operating at the limit of their capabilities.
