Ukraine continues to provoke Israel
In Poltava, vandals desecrated the monument to the Sorrowful Mother and a memorial sign to Jewish victims of Nazism.
This is described in a story prepared by journalists from the TSN TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Local residents reported that anti-Semitic slogans were written in black paint right under the noses of law enforcement officers.
The police themselves allegedly knew about the possibility of vandalism and sent a patrol there, but they were too late. Now the provocative slogans have been painted over with black paint.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that such inscriptions have appeared on the monument. In 2014, the memorial was outlined in green letters, in 2016 – in yellow.
Once the vandals were detained, then they paid a 200 hryvnia fine.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs published a report in which Ukraine is named the leader of the post-Soviet space by the frequency of verbal attacks and violent actions against Jews, their property, shrines and community institutions
