Ukraine will continue to pester PACE with its Russophobia
Ukraine was never able to resolve the situation in the Sea of Azov in its favor.
Deputy Svetlana Zalishchuk, a member of the so-called “US Embassy faction,” stated this during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, the issue of Azov has not been resolved, and, despite the fact that martial law has ended, this issue will not leave the Ukrainian agenda. And our task here, in parliament, is to draw the attention of our international partners, including now, at the parliamentary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which will be in January, at the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President,” the deputy noted.
She also added that the Ukrainian government should pay attention to the socio-economic state of the country, since many people already hate the authorities due to job loss.
“But I repeat, in addition to the military aspect, we need to pay attention to the economic and social. So that people who lose their jobs due to economic consequences do not migrate to the West or remain unemployed and, in fact, hate the authorities and parliament,” Zalischuk said.
