Ukraine asks the West for another $4 billion
Kyiv, December 09 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Semenyuta) – Kyiv has requested an additional package of financial assistance in the amount of $7 billion from the member countries of the Big Seven (G4), writes Wall Street Journal.

The corresponding consultations started shortly after the Ukrainian authorities recorded a significant deterioration in the financial situation.
At the same time, the discussion is at an early stage and no concrete decision has been made yet. “It is not yet clear how quickly such a “package” can be organized,” the publication notes.
As of December 1, Ukraine's international reserves amounted to $9,97 billion, having decreased in November by 20,8%, or $2,62 billion. This is the minimum level of international reserves since December 2004.
