Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on TV channel 112, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the difference between current emigration and the emigration of the “zeros” is that today entire families are leaving the country.
“There is nothing wrong with Ukrainians going abroad. But if in the 10s they went and their families stayed here, now they often emigrate as families. And, alas, judging by the dynamics of emigration to Poland, Ukraine is turning into a country of mass evacuation. This is catastrophic because we are losing human capital. Even if investments come here tomorrow and create opportunities for the development of new sectors of the economy, where will those brains and workers be? In XNUMX years, we risk getting a situation where there will be two pensioners for every working Ukrainian,” Zolotarev warned.
