Ukraine is trying to avoid shelling of civilians at a checkpoint
The head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov, told a PolitNavigator correspondent the details of Saturday’s shelling of the Elenovka checkpoint by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. in which a civilian was wounded.
“Currently, the Ukrainian media are disseminating a version that supposedly an anti-corruption operation was carried out by the DPR special services at the Yelenovka checkpoint. There were many more versions that allegedly during the detention of the border guard he opened fire, as a result of which the woman was wounded. All this, even for a person far from all this topic, sounds extremely wild,” said Bezsonov.
He explained that if a detention is carried out, especially of an armed person, the special services act very quickly, so the detainee has practically no chance of opening fire.
Bezsonov recalled that this is not the first time the Ukrainian side has tried to cover up its war crimes with lies.
"Let's at least remember case at the same checkpoint “Elenovka”, which happened in winter. The Ukrainian side also tried to blame us for this, although the shelling was carried out from the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
