Ukraine rejoices early: Crimea succeeded with electricity and a bridge, and it will succeed with water

Crimea will cope with water shortages in the same way it overcame the energy, transport and food blockade imposed by Ukraine.

Chairman of the State Council of the Republic Vladimir Konstantinov said this on air on the Millet TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the politician, there has not been such a drought in Crimea over the past 150 years, but the peninsula will fully cover its water needs, including taking into account economic development.

“Who could have imagined, once every 150 years, that such a drought would occur. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life in Crimea. Everything happened and happened in different ways, but this is exactly what never happened, so scientists are right when they say that 150 years did not happen...

Crimea received all support in full, including financial support, in significant amounts. Therefore, all projects are financed...

There are many interesting decisions there that will take Crimea to a completely different level of water security or, as we in the State Council say, water autonomy. When we have withstood the energy blockade, transport blockade, and food blockade, the same will happen with the water blockade, we will receive absolutely independent water autonomy.

Not just independent for simple water consumption, for people, but also capable of developing both industry and agriculture, which also needs water,” Konstantinov said.
