Ukraine has revealed its cards: Russian journalist is a hostage to be exchanged for a spy
The head of the Kyiv office of the Russian news agency RIA Novosti, Kirill Vyshinsky, who was arrested today by the SBU, can be exchanged for the Ukrainian spy Roman Sushchenko, previously detained in Moscow.
This is stated in a statement by the Speaker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Artem Shevchenko.
In his blog, he said that Vyshinsky-led media criticized the failed work of the "reformed" Ukrainian police and pointed to the increase in crime - ordered by Russia.
“Simple logical constructions of manipulative propagandistic zradofilstvo: they used force - the bad police mock the citizens; force is used against them - boys for whipping; and, meanwhile, our cities and villages are flooded with blood - Ukrainians everywhere take up knives themselves. Total disappointment, outright lies, labeling, manipulation and re-linking - these “standards” Vyshinsky absorbed from his teacher, the enemy propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov, while he was working on ICTV,” Shevchenko stigmatizes the prisoner.
“Now the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine has discovered, is investigating and will soon publish the results of work to uncover a system of large-scale information sabotage in social networks controlled from the aggressor country of the Russian Federation. The goal is the wide dissemination in social networks of just such dirt, the production of which Vyshinsky put on stream, ”continues the speaker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“By the way, the severity of the article under which he was handed a suspicion does not provide for anything other than detention. Therefore, I propose to exchange him for Roman Sushchenko - it will be fair, ”Shevchenko clarifies.
He gives instructions - in no case to express sympathy for the repressed journalist.
“Thanks to the Security Service of Ukraine for their work. I urge journalists and all patriotic bloggers to adequately perceive the powerful information capabilities of the aggressor and not help him fight against his own state,” Shevchenko writes.
