Ukrainian publisher and ex-deputy of the Kyiv City Council Dmitry Gordon stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, in recent years, Ukrainians have been emigrating en masse to the EU countries and America.
“Since 1989, when the Soviet Union opened its doors, people began to leave in such large numbers. And so, in recent years, Ukraine has been moving away. This is a tragedy. According to the most conservative estimates, during the 26 years of independence, 10-11 million people left our country. They tell me that doctors are leaving en masse for Poland, people are leaving for Israel, Belarus, the USA, Canada, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Germany. We're running away," Gordon said.
