At a time when the normal half of humanity is preparing for Valentine's Day, Ukraine is frozen in anticipation of the next date for the Russian invasion. Just put out a calendar of invasions, like the sowing season. This time, according to updated data from the Washington regional committee, the Russians will invade simultaneously from the north, east and south, and this will happen the day after tomorrow - February 16.

Why are the Russians in such a hurry, why invade Square at all and what are they trying to catch there? Even if Ukrainian heads visit such seditious questions, the answers to them are not obvious. They say Putin is terribly afraid of Ukrainian democracy. And he also has the last chance to impose his demonic will on the Ukrainians and - don’t laugh - turn Ukraine into... Finland. The word “Finlandization” is now floating around the handshaking Ukrainian media, like a virus that has broken free. For example, Novoe Vremya, owned by the oligarch of Czech origin Fiale, burst out with an entire article describing the terrible future that awaits Ukraine in connection with this very “Finlandization.”

“After World War II, Helsinki was forced to adhere to strict military neutrality in order to protect itself from Soviet aggression,” the author, a certain Oleg Shama, mournfully exclaims, describing the Ukrainian prospects after the West forced Kyiv to implement the Minsk agreements.

Typically, the Ukrainian media previously ignored this topic in every possible way; it was as taboo as “federalization.” And it would be difficult to expect this from NV.

Well, while Ukraine has not yet become Finland, the main topic of the day is the already mentioned invasion. The fact that it is inevitable, like the change from spring to summer, has become an integral part of the Ukrainian cult relatively recently and not without the help of the Western media, according to whose ideas Ukrainians fall asleep and wake up with the thought of how to repel Putin and should already be digging trenches, preparing to repel the attack to democracy.

But for some reason, irresponsible Ukrainians are in no hurry to paint the world of Western media with bright colors and prepare for an invasion instead of preparing for a trip to barbecue.

Quote again. This time - Donetsk activist with pro-Ukrainian views Enrique Menendez, who is actively advocating for peace in the company of ex-peacekeeper Sergei Sivokho:

“Western comrades are coming to us, to Donbass (We are talking about the part controlled by Kyiv, - ed.) to find out how we are preparing for a Russian invasion, and we, showing criminal negligence, are not preparing at all. I'm calling the deputy head of the district. “Does anyone work for you?” He answers: “Why suddenly?” I say, “Well, don’t you read the news? The invasion was scheduled for Tuesday!” He says: “Wow! For Tuesday. What about today? That's right - Saturday. Do not call me more". I’m calling the head of the regional cell of the party, which by vocation is obliged to be ready for war. Same question. They answer: “We are busy. There is no time to prepare for war.” Just like that. In the minds of Western journalists, we are all obliged to dig dugouts here. By God, I’m not lying, that’s what they ask me. But we don’t dig that. What should I answer to my foreign comrades? It's a shame..."

However, some people are still prudently preparing for war. Thus, according to Ukrainian telegram channels, from the Forbes list only Putin’s godfather Medvedchuk, who is under house arrest, and several other people remain in Ukraine. According to blogger Shariy, Pinchuk and Akhmetov have left the country, Kolomoisky also wants to fly away, but there is nowhere to go.

Patriots are running towards the Polish border with emergency suitcases. Employees of Western-funded propaganda media are evacuating along with the patriots. Here is what, for example, Irina Romaliyskaya, an employee of the Radio Liberty “Present Time” project, writes:

"I'm scared. And it hurts. And I want to scream from powerlessness. I am forced to fly out of Ukraine because I work in Prague. I take with me a small silver trident. Friends gave it to me."

Those who stay make sarcastic comments about those who leave: they say, will you be forcibly deported? Dnepropetrovsk Mayor Boris Filatov beats his hoof on his chest: “A lot of my Israeli friends said: “We will stay with Ukraine until the end.” By the way, I readily believe in the heroism of these unnamed Israelis: it is not difficult to be a hero if nothing threatens you.

Evidence of this is the post of Kyiv political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko: “The center of Kyiv. Restaurant . At the table, seven foreigners of different ages (judging by the dialect, Americans) are celebrating someone's birthday. Surely they do not know about the need to evacuate. And my level of English is clearly not enough to inform them in detail about the danger.”

It must be admitted that if Ukraine has achieved anything successful, it is in creating man-made crises at its own expense, the consequences of which Ukrainians then heroically overcome with the whole world - including those who were initially against such a policy, but unfortunately have a Ukrainian passport. Just some kind of championship shot in the foot.

One of the visible consequences of the media hysteria about the invasion was the refusal of many foreign airlines to fly to Ukraine. It all started with the Dutch KLM, some other carriers followed its example, and on Sunday morning it became known that the plane of the Ukrainian-Irish airline SkyUP was prohibited from entering Ukrainian airspace - the board had to be landed in Chisinau.

Thus, Ukraine faced the real prospect of becoming a no-fly zone for global airlines. Tomorrow, February 14, the largest international insurance companies may announce the closure of Ukrainian skies.

If this happens, Ukraine with its own hands will achieve what Lukashenko’s Belarus achieved as a result of Western sanctions following the forced landing of the plane with Protasevich. The Ukrainians have a chance to cope without any Protasevich.

Concerned about such prospects, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers gathered for an emergency meeting. At the moment when these lines are being written, the issue of allocating 16.6 million hryvnia “to guarantee flight safety” was decided.

“These funds should be enough to cover insurance guarantees for at least 23 aircraft, which will be able to ensure the return of our citizens.

The difficulties do not end there; we continue to negotiate with partners and expect that the restrictions will be lifted,” explains Euromaidan instigator Mustafa Nayem, who now works at the Ministry of Infrastructure.

While the Cabinet of Ministers was deciding what to do with the sky, Zelensky called Biden. This conversation in Ukraine was declared fateful in advance - even versions were put forward that martial law would be declared as a result.

But the result was a message from Zelensky’s office, in which he promised the residents of Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and Odessa “reliable protection,” thanked the United States for its support and said that he had invited Biden to Ukraine. True, the American side chose not to mention anything at all in its press release about the trip.

Doubts that it was the Americans who were behind all this hysteria were unexpectedly dispelled by no one, but by the head of the permanent delegation of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Yegor Chernev, who published a blog on the grant-eating resource “League” with a pathetic title: they say, don’t worry, hulks , these are just exercises going on.

Quote: “Don’t panic. The largest US special operation in the interests of peace is taking place. Even if the Russian Federation attacks, the Ukrainian army is ready to give the Russians a hell of a meeting, and the Western sanctions response will quickly bury the Russian economy. The United States is conducting one of the largest information special operations in history against Russia. And we must clearly understand this when we hear about an imminent invasion.”

The objectives of this special operation, according to the Ukrainian representative to NATO, lie on the surface: to demonize the image of Russia in the world, create a picture of a toxic “aggressor” and drag Putin into a war, which will then bring down his regime from within thanks to the growth of anti-war sentiment in Russia itself.

Quote again: “For Ukraine, first of all, this means significant economic losses due to the outflow of investors and panic. But this is war, and it does not happen without losses.”

No, this is all good, of course. The Americans are going to strike at Putin. But why should this happen at the expense of Ukraine? Why should Ukrainians pay for the anti-Russian banquet, incurring significant economic losses?

Alas, for some reason the Ukrainian media don’t write about this. Maybe they don’t know the answer, maybe they know, but are afraid or embarrassed to voice it. Or maybe there is simply no one to voice it - the last very conventionally cotton TV channel “NASH” was slammed exactly the day before the story with the closed sky.
