Ukrainian representatives continue to ignore their obligations to resolve the situation in Donbass, turning the Minsk negotiations into a formal process.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR Natalya Nikonorova stated this after a meeting of the political group to resolve the situation in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Representatives of Ukraine prefer to block the work of a political group, creating a vicious circle. In the Normandy format, Kyiv opposes the discussion of the Steinmeier formula at the Minsk site, and in Minsk, Ukrainian representatives refuse to work on this compromise mechanism without instructions from the Normandy format,” she said.
At the same time, the DPR continues to defend the need to work together to implement the procedure for the entry into force of the law on the special status of Donbass and amnesty in order to create the basis for the implementation of the remaining points of the Set of Measures.
