The head of the international committee of the Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, announced this today.
The Russian parliamentarian said that he learned about this in a conversation with the head of the German Bundestag Norbert Lammert, who received a response letter from the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman.
“In his letter, Groysman answered unequivocally “no.” Ukrainian partners do not want to develop the parliamentary dimension of the Normandy Four,” Kosachev said.
Let us recall that earlier the German Foreign Ministry stated that the negotiations between the foreign ministers of the Normandy Four countries, which took place this week in Paris, were contradictory and full of disagreements between representatives of Russia and Ukraine.
